A true believer must accept the fact that there will be a day, a Day of Judgement [also known as the Here After or Aakhira], when all people will meet their creator, Allah (SWT), to be held accountable for all their worldy deeds.

The good deeds are weighed against the bad deeds and whichever side that prevails determines whether someone goes to the Garden of Eden or goes to Hell-Fire. Equal deeds will allow the person to reside temporarily in a middle section called Al-A'Raaf, afterwhich Allah (SWT)'s mercy would allow him/her to enter paradise and reside therein.
